Mission Statement

The Data Center Standards Foundation “DCSF” is a non-profit standards body that enables data center users, owners, and operators to self-assess the rating of their data centers and then have an independent third-party audit verify that assessment. The DCSF also protects standard integrity by preventing false claims of certification through active enforcement.

The data center industry is critical to the future. Data centers are the backbone of an increasing number of interconnected systems supporting the world. No industry will be able to survive in our IoE world without reliable and sustainable data center technology. Sensing the need for clarity around data center quality, and growing increasingly concerned with the conflicts of interest inherit in the current standards landscape, DCSF provides non-profit, conflict-of-interest-free, independent validation of the quality, integrity and reliability of a data center.
